about

Paleface's self-titled debut album topped the college radio charts and made PALEFACE the first artist from NYC's Lower East Side 90's indie-folk-rock scene (also known as Antifolk), to hit major label stardom. It received positive reviews by Rolling Stone and Billboard. Paleface has been called a major early influence by many well known artists ranging from Todd Snider to Grammy Award recipient, Beck.

"We used to go to all the open mics together. He taught me Daniel Johnston songs on the sidewalk and let me sleep on his couch. He was a great songwriter, a generous friend, and a big influence on my early stuff" Beck (on Paleface)

"This song treads some very crucial, interesting intersections between satire and offense" YACT (on 'Burn and Rob / track #2)
