Into the Curve Now that I've found a way to deal with all the The shit that just doesn’t serve I’ve finally gotten out ahead of all that The hell with going back The hell with trying to fit into the curve Into the curve - the hell with tryin’ to To fit into the curve, Into the curve The hell with all of that The light is in the cracks oh oh oh oh oh You see it now, Whatever feels is true And if it do you won’t have to try and try To fit into the curve Into the curve - the hell with tryin’ to To fit into the curve, Into the curve

Fashion or Feeling Back it up - are you sure? It all depends on what you’re here for You might miss this - you could care less All I know is I feel it best when its rolling I really feel it when its rolling And if no one, if nobody will say - then I will Lets have one for the good old days One for the road and for the next wave It's not a fashion - it's just a feeling It all depends on how you deal with With whatever - You make your own mess It’s so true - the litmus test is if its rolling Do you feel it when its rolling? And if no one, if nobody will say You gotta say it One for the good old days One for the road and for the next wave Oh don’t let me down - don’t miss this It's not a fashion and if you feel this way Don’t let me down it's not a fashion It's just a feeling and if you feel this way Then let's have one for the good old days One for the road and for the next wave

Must have thought it was something Really thought it was something Something that I was willing to wait for Take all that time Willing to go as far as i needed to go to get mine Why else would I Oh yeah, why else would I Oh yeah Must have thought it was something Really thought it was something Something that I was willing to wait for Take all that time Willing to go as far as i needed to go to get mine Why else would I Be willing to, willing to take I must have thought it was worth the wait
4.
I'll Pull My Weight If i’ve been dumb about it It doesn’t mean i’m gonna quit In fact i’ll probably just double down now Dig myself in Take a heart attack I’ll pull my weight, I’ll pull my weight If I've been wrong well ok Just let me right my way Just let me figure out what this is so So that I can get down To the bottom of it I’ll pull my weight, I’ll pull my weight Lots of people say that they know what it is I don’t see how they think they know what it is How could they know? I’ll pull my weight
5.
Exactly Everything We’ve been over and over the same thing It’s a lock you say you really want to make it right It’s always better just to work it out “What do I have to do” you say, “This is what I can see This is what you must do if you If you wanna be with me” You say (2) “This is the way that I want everything to be... And you just gotta understand me” “There’s an underhandedness to this - to the world You say there's gotta be a way around it “Somehow we gotta get around it all” Chorus This is the way that I want everything
6.
Take the Stage and Play I’m all in until I'm not The trail is cold until its hot Don’t ask questions they say You feel it so just take your shot Take the stage and play Take the stage and play Take the stage and play, and play (3)
7.
It All Depends on What Happens Next It all depends, it all depends, it all depends I don’t know when it all depends Don’t know what it's gonna be, we’ll see. Don't know what it’s gonna be (2) Don’t know what Just don’t know what
8.
It Don't Mean Nothing It don't mean nothing, it don't mean nothin’ It don’t mean a thing anymore (2) What can you do? Don't regret it No matter what it put you through It’s so extreme But still it’s gone now anyway And it can only fuck with you inside a dream Only inside of a dream It don't mean nothin, it don't mean nothin’ It don’t mean a thing anymore (2) Oh no it's so extreme, It don’t mean nothing No need to lean the way you lean It's in the past And even though a year ago it wasn’t funny Now you look at it and laugh You really gotta laugh Because it don't mean nothin’ no it don’t mean nothin’ It don't mean a thing anymore (2) Everyone’s got their troubles and their lonely days, oh yeah (2) It don’t mean nothin’
9.
10.
Keep It Tight You keep it tight, you keep it real light, I wanna know what you do and what you don’t like I wanna see what it is that makes it so right You keep it tight - that's what i like - you keep it Ha ha ha hahuh If it’s a wave, we gotta make time We gotta make do with what we got and besides i’ve Been on the stage and I know it’s just a fine line So keep it tight It’ll be right, just keep it... it’ll be right Just keep it tight. Just keep it real light I wanna know what you do and what you don't like I wanna see what it is that makes it so right So keep it tight It’ll be right just keep it You know what I'm sayin - when its right... It’s really, really right

about

(VINYL LP TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK)

Prolific recording & touring artist, Paleface, breaks through into the world of music production to create his new album "Go Forth", with strong fan support. The full length album features partner Monica “Mo” Samalot on drums & additional vocals. It was mixed by Grammy winning engineer Jason Carmer (Run DMC, Third Eye Blind, Merle Haggard), and mastered by John Greenham who just won three more Grammy's for his work mastering the "album of the year" by Billie Eilish.

Paleface was schooled musically by underground icon Daniel Johnston, and soon discovered at an NYC open mic, by Danny Fields (The Stooges, The Ramones, MC5) , who managed him for 8 years. He's released albums for Polygram and Sire records, as well as indie labels Ramseur and now defunct but once mighty Shimmy Disc. He’s been called a major musical influence by a wide range of artists including BECK and The Avett Brothers. He has collaborated & appeared on three of The Avett’s albums, most notably as the “4th thief” on their album Four Thieves Gone. Additionally, Paleface is a visual artist, and his bright & bold music-lyric inspired paintings are collected by fans worldwide.

PRESS
"Paleface is a gem, a brilliant man...one of the greatest songwriters on Earth" The Avett Brothers
"We used to go to all the open mics together. Paleface taught me Daniel Johnston songs on the sidewalk and let me sleep on his couch. He's a great songwriter, a generous friend, and a big influence on my early stuff" Beck

"Paleface is one of the scene’s best-loved products." Time Out NY

"Melodic songs with a sunny vibe while maintaining an edge." The New Yorker

"Paleface’s songs have always been these wry, charismatic anthems, and ever since Mo Samalot has joined him on drums and vocals, the music has entered a charged and high energy rock ‘n’ roll territory that suits his gravel croons perfectly. A habitué of Daniel Johnston who was managed by none other than Danny Fields for much of the ’90s, come see why this guy is such a huge influence on Beck, the Avetts, and others " Detroit Metro Times

"Joyous, carefree and catchy as hell” My Old Kentucky Blog

"Paleface is a big influence on many artists from today’s enormously popular “Indie Folk” scene. It wouldn’t be a stretch to call him the Bob Dylan of the increasingly popular styles." City Beat, Cincinnati

"Paleface played a wonderful set that saw a normally chill crowd get up on their feet" Dayton Daily News

"His bright songwriting and even more fiery performance style will set a room in motion... it’s fiercely fresh in pulse, and he and his band light up stages every night." – Orlando Weekly

"This band will liven up any room it's in, slinging the happiness like a drug", Roanoke Times

"One damn good time.” BLURT

"A rousing showman we’re lucky to get to see him play live" Creative Loafing

"Paleface, an alt-folk icon" The Flagpole

"Overdue for recognition" Nashville Scene
